Gawdat at VEGA

Gawdat are a Cairo-based duo with a reputation for rocking venues throughout the entirety of their sets. They are heavily influenced by 90’s R&B culture, classic soul, and jazzy basslines, which form the basis of their signature sound and groove-laden mixing style.

The duo are considered to one of Egypt’s top musical talents, having played nearly every major event within the borders since 2013. The brothers proved to be a unique embodiment of equal parts energy and technical capability. This led them to being called upon for international performances, playing alongside some of the industry’s heavyweights such as Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers, Luciano, Loco Dice and Bedouin to name a few.
